Experience the beauty of the river Zrmanja by taking part in this guided canoe safari adventure tour. No need to worry about organizing watersports equipment rental—everything you need is provided, making it the ultimate stress-free experience. Along the way, enjoy the thrill of paddling through a canyon and access scenic views that you wouldn’t see otherwise—such as Velebit Mountain.
Kayaking on Zrmanja river is suitable for beginners and can be also enjoyed by experienced adventurers. Before the tour, you will be informed about all the safety measures and will receive safety equipment, life vests, and helmets. Depending on the season, you will be provided with a short or long wetsuit or wind jacket.
Star At: Zadar
– We will pick you up anywhere in Zadar and we are going in the direction of Zrmanja river. It takes one hour (70km) to get there.
Stop At:Kaštel Žegarski
– The beginning of the trip (clothes changing, instructions, boarding and start of the paddling down the river) is at village Kaštel Žegarski.
Duration 30 minutes
Stop At: Zrmanja river
– Going down the river lasts for approximately 4 hours of which one hour is spent on occasional breaks and swimming. Paddling isn’t hard or dangerous, during the summer; the water is clear and refreshing – perfect adventure for beginners.

Stop At: Muškovci
– At the end of tour you will have break to relax while enjoying in fruits and drinks. Duration:30 minutes
Finish At: Zadar
– At the conclusion of the tour, we will provide transportation and drop you off at any desired location within the Zadar area.
- We will promptly inform you of the precise pickup time the day prior to the tour.
- River temperature 16-20ºC
- All our guides have adequate certificates and can speak Croatian and English
- Each kayak is equipped with waterproof bag (for dry clothes, food, camera etc.). You will get a helmet and a PFD, which are required. Depending of a weather condition, we will provide additional equipment for lower temperatures – neoprene suits.

El tour de los lagos de Plitvice merece totalmente la pena aunque lamentablemente en agosto hay mucha gente. Nuestro guía Ivan hizo todo el tour muy ameno y divertido. Lo recomiendo!
Belle visite des lacs de Plitivice, très bien organisé depuis Zadar. Notre guide Bojan était hyper intéressant en donnant bcp d'infos à la fois sur l'histoire de son pays et sur les lacs en eux-mêmes. La visite s'effectue en sens 'inverse' de celui normalement prévu, comme cela on évite le gros de la foule. Je recommande mais attention, en été les lacs sont pris d'assaut.
